Meet Your Makeup Artist

If you've made it this far, you might be considering having me as your makeup artist!

I thought it'd be fun to share a little about the person behind the brushes before we (hopefully!) work together!

When I'm not doing makeup, you can typically find me taking 500 photos a day of my golden retriever Gus, spending time with my boyfriend, James, or building my online shopping cart from various makeup & clothing websites😉

I'm a Minnesota girl born and raised, the only time I left was to attend college at UND for four years. I loved it and that’s where I met all my best friends!

During the week, I work full-time as a business analyst for COVERGIRL! You could say I can't escape the beauty industry... not that I'd want to anyway🤍

I started doing makeup 10 years ago on friends and family. Fully teaching myself from the ancient texts (Youtube makeup tutorials).

My sister began to kindly offer my services to friends of hers getting married, then forced me to create a business Instagram, and just like that, Beauty by LC was born. (thank you Anna)

  • A good pair of jeans. I love clothes and am constantly online shopping or looking for style inspo from influencers.

    Bare nails - I used to get DIP for years every month. I decided to give my nails a break 6 months ago and have been loving the natural look

    The TOAST podcast (not necessarily a current obsession, been listening for years). Happy to play old episodes during a makeup appointment upon request!

  • My ideal getting ready playlist would range from John Mayer, the Cranberries, Drake, Kacey Musgraves, Waka Flocka, Luke Combs, some yacht rock, a sprinkle of Taylor Swift, 2Chainz, and some 2015 EDM. It would touch all genres of music lol
